The Canada Revenue Agency, through Public Works and Government Services Canada awarded COREPLAN Construction Inc. approximately 22,000 square feet of leasehold improvement in our new Whitby office. This project quickly became one of the most challenging projects undertaken by the CRA as our timelines to implement were short.
The challenge in this project was its high level of complexity that ensued and the fact COREPLAN had to understand, control, and navigate the project through the varying project objectives set out by six different stakeholder organizations. COREPLAN showed their high level of professionalism in managing each or these organizations by bringing them together as a cohesive team and ensured all were reading from the same “playbook”.
This project was the second major project COREPLAN has performed for the CRA in the last 2 years and once again COREPLAN’s experience and knowledge was instrumental in anticipating issues before they happened and arising from considerations due to changes to the original scope of work. This innate ability to forecast possible setbacks and provide suitable solutions that worked was crucial to pushing the project forward and maintaining aggressive timelines already imposed.
COREPLAN was proactive, took the initiative when required to problem-solve issues and their creative approach to finding solutions illustrated that they were always in full and complete control of our project. In the end, we could not have been more pleased with overall performance. On behalf of the CRA, we would like to recognize COREPLAN”s efforts and congratulate all concerned on another job well done!
